Frame is a collection of poetry, art, and photography inspired by the layering quality of collage art. The poems are set in a 'frame' of Evelyn’s experiences as a young poet and her relationship with art making—an integral aspect of her being. Frame is a depiction of Evelyn’s development as a writer. The book weaves together clandestine pieces she wrote as young as sixteen with poems she wrote in college. Her collection is a captivating collage of self discovery, exploration of knowledge, and connection to creative practice.

My partner Ethan DeBoard and I began our alternative band, Wasting May, in 2023. Alongside his instrumentals and production, I write lyrics and perform vocals. We have released two EP’s and three singles. Check out our music here.

What started as a method of strengthening my poetry, creating visual journal art—a mixed-media, methodical art style—has become a core part of my creative practice.
